What Tallymoss is
Tallymossis an always-on AI bookkeeping service for solo founders. We connect to your bank and card feeds, categorise transactions as they post, chase overdue invoices, and email you a plain-English P&L every morning — plus a forward-looking forecast so you know where the numbers are going. It's a tool — it doesn't replace your accountant, your tax filing, or your own judgement about how to run your business. How we handle your information is in our Privacy page.
Your account & connected feeds
When you sign up, give us accurate information and only connect bank, card, or accounting feeds that you own or that you're explicitly authorised to connect — a personal account that isn't yours, an employer's books, or a client's books without their written permission isn't yours to hand us. Keep your password (and any aggregator credentials you set up) to yourself. If someone uses your account because your credentials leaked, that's on you the same way it would be with any other online tool — we can't be expected to spot it ahead of you. When you stop using Tallymoss, disconnect every feed you connected (bank, card, accounting) from your account settings before you close it; an unused connection is an unnecessary door into someone else's systems. Tell us as soon as you notice anything strange, and we'll help.
Plans & billing
Plans and prices live at /pricing and may change from time to time — if a price goes up, we'll let active subscribers know before the change kicks in on their next renewal. Subscriptions are recurring and billed through Stripe on the interval you pick at checkout — monthly or yearly — and renew automatically on that same interval until you cancel. You can cancel from your account settings at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you've already paid for, and we don't pro-rate refunds for partial periods. If you're a first-time subscriber, you have 14 days from your first charge to ask for a full refund — email us at tallymoss-5@polsia.app and we'll sort it the same week.
Acceptable use
Don't use Tallymossfor anything illegal. Don't try to break the service, probe it for vulnerabilities without telling us first, or resell it under your own brand. Don't upload content you don't have the right to share. Don't use it to harass, spam, or scam other people. If you do any of that, we can suspend or close your account.
Your data & privacy
You own your data. We own the service. The full breakdown of what we collect, why, and what we do with it lives on the Privacy page; by using the service you're agreeing to that too.
Intellectual property
We own the software, the design, the trademarks, and everything we've built. You own the data you bring in — your transactions, your invoices, your receipts, your customer list. You're not allowed to copy, reverse-engineer, or resell the service itself.
Termination
You can stop using Tallymossat any time and close your account from settings. We can suspend or close accounts that violate the acceptable-use rules above, with notice when we can. After your account is closed, we keep a minimal record of your transaction history for a short window in case you change your mind, then delete it — subject to any legal or tax hold we're required to keep for longer.
Early-stage service
Tallymossis an early-stage product. We work hard to make categorisation, forecasting, and the daily P&L as accurate as we can — but the numbers we show are best-effort and aren't tax or legal advice. Before you file or sign anything based on what we show you, double-check the underlying data and, when the stakes are high, run it past your accountant or lawyer.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for anything related to the service is capped at the amount you actually paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We're not liable for indirect or consequential losses — lost profit, lost business opportunity, lost goodwill — even if we knew they were possible. Nothing in these terms is meant to exclude liability we can't lawfully exclude (fraud, death, personal injury caused by negligence, that kind of thing).
Changes to these terms
When we change these terms in a way that matters, we'll update the “Effective” date above, and if the change is material we'll email everyone who has an active account before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service after a change goes live means you're okay with it.
